Welcome to your pocket sized guide to wellbeing. Every single tip and strategy I suggest here will benefit you. I know this to be true as I have personally implemented each one. I have learned over many years that strong wellbeing and robust mental health are largely in our own hands and we must actively prioritise them every single day. I have always done so but never have I experienced the value of doing so more than in this past year when, out of nowhere, my husband was diagnosed with an incurable cancer. In the face of huge adversity and challenge, I’ve been able to navigate the enormous changes this has brought us. I have continued to work, look after my family and allowed myself space to process change. There have even been moments of joy.
