How do we work with doctors?
7 skills for health care workers
Whether online or face-to-face, our high impact sessions focus on building stronger self-awareness of adaptability, empathy, critical thinking, integrity, optimism, being proactive and resilience.
We work with doctors who have trained overseas and are newly arrived in the UK to practice, junior doctors in danger of burning out and doctors who are returning to work after a break from clinical practice.

Our Success Stories
Health Education England
We were delighted to be asked in early 2020 to provide full-day sessions for groups of doctors returning to clinical practice after a break. The sessions focused on building adaptability to manage work expectations and fears, knowing how to be proactive and collaborative with others and using resilience to bounce back from setbacks, adversity and uncertainty. Each delegate received a personal feedback report, copy of the book and additional resources.
Mindfulness, resilience and empathy
Throughout 2018 and 2019 we delivered short awareness raising sessions to doctors newly arriving to practice in the UK as part of their induction processes with the GMC (General Medical Council) and Health Education England. These sessions were very well received and complemented sessions on simulation and human factors. This heralded the start of our work with the NHS.
Resilience for A&E doctors
We run one-day workshops to support building resilience in junior doctors working in A&E. These practical sessions focus on a number of awareness-raising exercises, opportunities for doctors to come together and share experiences and tips and ideas for doctors to add to their wellbeing and resilience “tool box”.
