How do we work with doctors?

We are privileged to work with the UK National Health Service (NHS) Trusts and their professional support and well-being services delivering face-to-face sessions, online masterclasses and well-being materials.

7 skills for health care workers

Whether online or face-to-face, our high impact sessions focus on building stronger self-awareness of adaptability, empathy, critical thinking, integrity, optimism, being proactive and resilience.

We work with doctors who have trained overseas and are newly arrived in the UK to practice, junior doctors in danger of burning out and doctors who are returning to work after a break from clinical practice.

All of our courses and workshops are now available via Find Courses.co.uk too.

What our clients say…

Junior doctor arriving from overseas

I really valued being able to share common issues with my colleagues. The tips and ideas were easy to implement and make a huge difference to our daily wellbeing. These sessions should be run at all levels.

Doctor returning to work after maternity leave

I was feeling very nervous about returning to clinical practice and this workshop showed me that I need to focus much more on confidence boosting strategies, going out of my comfort zone and finding lots of opportunities to learn and grow. I now feel great about going back!

Doctor, Accident and Emergency

This kind of training is very high impact because we are constantly taking part in activities that raise awareness. I learned some very valuable strategies to take forward which will help me avoid burn-out.

Nurse

Can't thank you enough for such valuable training. It was really personalised and I gained so much from this one day that I can carry forward in a practical and focused way. Thank you so so much!

Our Success Stories

Health Education England

We were delighted to be asked in early 2020 to provide full-day sessions for groups of doctors returning to clinical practice after a break. The sessions focused on building adaptability to manage work expectations and fears, knowing how to be proactive and collaborative with others and using resilience to bounce back from setbacks, adversity and uncertainty. Each delegate received a personal feedback report, copy of the book and additional resources.

Mindfulness, resilience and empathy

Throughout 2018 and 2019 we delivered short awareness raising sessions to doctors newly arriving to practice in the UK as part of their induction processes with the GMC (General Medical Council) and Health Education England. These sessions were very well received and complemented sessions on simulation and human factors. This heralded the start of our work with the NHS.

Resilience for A&E doctors

We run one-day workshops to support building resilience in junior doctors working in A&E. These practical sessions focus on a number of awareness-raising exercises, opportunities for doctors to come together and share experiences and tips and ideas for doctors to add to their wellbeing and resilience “tool box”.
